Talk about bad luck. You are an angst ridden teenage girl in a new town, you fall in love with a tall dark stranger who turns out to be be vampire, who wants to bite you......but has the self restraint to NOT!! (Twilight-part1) Then you are left by tall dark stranger and after months of mope ing, you fall in love with, not so tall and dark native Indian boy, but he turns out to be a werewolf who has the self restraint not to eat you....these werewolves only eat Vampire....how conveinant (Twilight - Part2).
This angst ridden sequel (2nd of 4) is full of the typical tortured teenage love, but this time a love triangle, staring Kristen Stewart (does anyone else think she looks like a young Signorney Weaver), Robert Pattinson and the muscle bound Taylor Lautner. It seems we are on a run of Vampire flicks but this is above and beyond anything else out there at the moment. The message of temptation and yet restraint is an interesting one for todays teenage audiences......yet the books and films are so popular!!!
So if you want a vampire flick....with morals.......buff native Indians.....and werewolf's....well worth a look!!
